SAHITYA SANCHAR PRATISTHAN

back

Founded in 1997 by twelve literary artists of Itahari, a small emerging town in the eastern Nepal, this circle has gained good repute in a short period of time. It has three publications, two electronic and one in print, and a book museum. The monthly poetry recital has been able to gather some of the best poets and writers of national and international repute. It's  a kind of small workshop where new poets and writers learn from the comment and interaction with the established ones.

Each member of this circle aspires to do something, bring new creative ideas and find space in the annals of the history of Nepalese literature. Most of the members have got their collections published and others too are getting things ready for it. The circle in this small town has created a stir and stoked the flame of thirst for creation.
