Helen Buckingham was born in London, 1960, and now lives in Bristol in the south-west of England. Her haiku and senryu have been published in journals throughout the world, including: Acorn, Frogpond, Mainichi Daily News, Mayfly, Modern Haiku, Presence, Roadrunner, Snapshots and The Heron's Nest. A selection of her work recently appeared in: A New Resonance 5: Emerging Voices in English-Language Haiku (Red Moon Press). Her poetry has also been placed in a number of awards, including: The James W. Hackett, The HIA, The Mainichi, The Basho Memorial, The Snapshot Calendar and The Suruga Baika.
